Jesse Metcalfe, an American television actor, was born in Carmel Valley, California, on December 9, 1978. His heritage includes Italian, Portuguese, English, French, and Irish. In southeast Connecticut, he was reared. In New London, Connecticut, Metcalfe went to the Williams School, an elite secondary school. Metcalfe made his small-screen debut in NBC's daytime drama "Passions," but he gained renown for his role as adolescent boy-toy John Rowland on the smash-hit series "Desperate Housewives." Since then, he has played the lead in both studio and indie films. Best known for appearing with Michael Douglas in "Beyond A Reasonable Doubt" and directing Twentieth Century Fox's popular adolescent comedy "John Tucker Must Die." Jesse was cast in 2011's TNT revival of the venerable series "Dallas." playing the role of Christopher Ewing, Bobby Ewing's son (Patrick Duffy).
