Kathryn Newton is an American television and movie actress. She was born Kathryn Love Newton, on the 8th of February, 1997, in Orlando, Florida, U.S. She started her career as a child, when she made her television debut on the soap opera “All My Children”. In 2008 she was cast as Louise Brooks in the CBS’s series “Gary Unmarried”. Two years later, she won two Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a TV Comedy Series as well as Best Performance in a TV series, for her role in “Gary Unmarried”. In 2011 she acted alongside Cameron Diaz in the comedy film “Bad Teacher”. In 2012 she landed the lead role of the horror movie “Paranormal Activity 4” and her performance earned her an award at the 34th Young Artist Awards. In 2017 she appeared in the popular series “Big Little Lies” and she also landed major roles in the movies “Missouri” and “Ben is Back”. She also starred in “Pokémon Detective Pikachu”.
