Paz Vega Bio
María de la Paz Campos Trigos, better known as Paz Vega, is a Spanish actress, director, and writer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Seville, Andalucía, Spain, on January 2, 1976. Paz began her acting career in the late 1990s when she was cast in the Spanish series Menudo es mi padre, Más que amigos, and Compañeros, but she became famous in 2001 when she starred in the drama film Sex and Lucia alongside Tristán Ulloa, Najwa Nimri, Elena Anaya, and Daniel Freire. She has since been a regular on the TV series Cuna de Lobos, The OA, El Continental, Fugitiva, Perdóname, Señor, La Hermandad, and 7 vidas. Paz’s filmography includes Rambo: Last Blood, Spanglish, The Spirit, Talk to Her, and Kill the Messenger. She has won multiple awards for her acting including an Imagen Foundation Award for Best Actress, a Goya Award for Best New Actress, an Antoñita Colomé Award for Best Female Performance, and a Female Revelation Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
