Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith Bio
Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, born on Orcas Island, Washington is an American music composer and producer. Her love of music came at an early age and led her to study sound engineering at Berklee College of Music. She plays the piano, guitar, sings, and produces her music through the use of synthesizers. He primary genre of music is electronica. While in college Kaitlyn played in an indie-folk band called Ever Isles, but left the project once she started working on her own solo electronic music. She began releasing music in 2012 with her debut album entitled Cows Will Eat The Weeds. In the same year she released a follow up album called Useful Trees. 2012 also brought Kaitlyn a single called “Swan” and an EP entitled Milk. In 2015 she signed to the independent records label Western Vinyl. Her first studio album was released under the name The Kid in 2017.
