My Morning Jacket is a rock band formed in Louisville, Kentucky, United States in 1998. The group members are Bo Koster, Jim James, Carl Broemel, Tom Blankenship, and Patrick Hallahan. Rock and pop are their musical specialties, and their style is alternative/indie rock, southern rock, alternative country-rock, and neo-psychedelia. Their breakthrough album is “Z” was released in 2005. Some of their song highlights are “Compound Fracture”, “Mahgeetah”, “Magic Bullet”, “Holding On to Black Metal”, “Wordless Chorus”, “What a Wonderful Man”, “Evelyn Is Not Real”, “Death Is The Easy Way”, and many more. In the movies, they are known for their work on “Gossip Girl”, “Big Little Lies”, “He's Just Not That Into You”, “The Lookout”, “Elizabethtown”, “The Night Before”, “Arrow”, How I Met Your Mother”, etc. They have 3 Grammy Award Nominations (2008, 2011, and 2015) for Best Alternative Music Albums.
