Marcus Wareing Bio
Marcus Wareing (born June 29, 1970 in Southport, Lancashire, England) is an English chef, TV personality, entrepreneur, and author.
Marcus is best known as a judge on the reality show MasterChef: The Professionals which featured Gregg Wallace, Michel Roux Jr., Monica Galetti, and Sean Pertwee. He is also known as the owner of the Michelin-rated restaurant Marcus.
Besides appearing on MasterChef: The Professionals, Marcus also appeared on other TV series including Marcus Wareing's Tales from a Kitchen Garden, Saturday Kitchen, Celebrity Masterchef, Gordon Ramsay: Beyond Boiling Point, and The Great British Menu.
Marcus has won several awards including a Michelin star, Tatler Restaurateur of the Year, GQ Chef of the Year, the Chef award at the Cateys and an Acorn Award. He has also written numerous books including Marcus at Home, Marcus Everyday: Easy Family Food for Every Kind of Day, and New Classics: Inspiring and delicious recipes to transform your home cooking.
