Nathan Outlaw (born March 7, 1978 in Kent, England) is an English chef, TV personality, author, and actor, most renowned for his appearances on 2010’s reality series The Great British Menu and his two Michelin star restaurant, Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, in Port Isaac, Cornwall.
Outlaw secured his first job as a chef with Peter Kromberg at the InterContinental London Park Lane in London. Between 1998 and 2000, Outlaw worked with chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ripley in Padstow, Cornwall, before moving on to work at the two Michelin starred restaurant Lords of the Manor with head chef John Campbell.
In 2010, Outlaw appeared on the reality TV cooking show called Great British Menu. The show featured talented chefs including Matthew Fort, Oliver Peyton, Andi Oliver, and Prue Leith. Following the show, Outlaw has appeared on other reality TV shows including Saturday Kitchen, Simply Raymond Blanc, My Greatest Dishes, Yes Chef, and MasterChef: The Professionals.
He is the author of Everyday Seafood, Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, and Nathan Outlaw’s Home Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Cook for Family and Friends.
