Tal Wilkenfeld is an Australian singer, songwriter, and guitarist who performs rock, jazz, blues, and funk. She was born in Sydney, Australia, on December 2, 1986.
Tal began her music career in 2002 as a bassist for various artists including The Allman Brothers Band and Chick Corea, and she released her debut studio project Transformation in 2007. Tal has since had a successful career as a solo artist and as a bassist for numerous other music projects. Her discography includes the hit singles Corner Painter, BC, Serendipity, Cosmic Smoke, and the studio project Love Remains. Tal was featured on Lee Ritenour’s album Rhythm Sessions alongside George Duke, Patrice Rushen, David Grusin, and Marcus Miller.
