Born in Detroit, Michigan, United States, in 1975, Robert O'Bryant, better known by his stage name Waajeed, is an American music producer best known for his hip hop music. Waajeed burst onto the music scene in 1991 when he created the hip hop group Slum Village with T3, Baatin, and J Dilla. His discography includes the singles Shango, Get Live, Poer in Mubers, Let Your Love featuring Ideeyah, DeSean Jones, and Khristian Foreman, and the albums The War, From the Dirt, and Detroit Love Vol. 3 – Mixed by Waajeed. Besides his career as a solo artist, Waajeed has been part of the music groups Slum Village, Platinum Pied Pipers, and Tiny Hearts.
