Infected Mushroom Bio
Infected Mushroom is an electronic music duo from Israel. The duo is composed of Erez Eisen and Amit Duvdevani, both electronic musicians and producers, and they formed in 1996, in Haifa. Their music is characterized by their use of different instruments including acoustic guitarist, and a heavy use of drum beats. Their style ranges from psytrance to electronica and techno. Their debut album “The Gathering” was released in 1999 under the label YoYo Records. From 2000 to 2020, they released 11 more albums, including “Army of Mushrooms” in 2012, which charted at number 11 in the U.S. Dance Chart, and in number 7 in the U.S. Heat Charts. They have toured intensely over more than 20 years, performing at eminent festivals worldwide such as the Burning Man Festivals in Black Rock City, Nevada, Brazil’s Ipanema Beach Festival, and Melbourne’s Metro Club, among many others.
