Deepika Chikhalia Topiwala is a well-known Indian actress who was born on April 29th, 1965, in Mumbai. She is most known for her part as Devi Sita in the television series “Ramayan,” which was created by Ramanand Sagar. In 1983, she made her film debut with Raj Kiran in the film ”Sun Meri Laila.” Since then, she has starred in three well-known Hindi films with Rajesh Khanna, namely “Rupaye Dus Karod,” “Ghar Ka Chiraag,” and “Khudai.” In 1986, she starred alongside Mammootty in the Malayalam film “Ithile Iniyum Varu.” She also had success in Kannada with the films “Hosa Jeevana” and “Indrajith,” both of which were directed by Shankar Nag. In addition, she was awarded the Smita Patil Memorial Award in the year 1988.
