Shabir Ahluwalia is an actor born on 10th August 1979 in Maharashtra, India. He is widely recognized for appearing in the Ekta Kapoor-directed drama television series “Kumkum Bhagya”. Shabir began his career in 1999 with the television series “Hip Hip Hurray”, playing the role of Purab. In 2002, he appeared in the soap opera “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, which also featured Hussain Kuwajerwala. He also appeared alongside Manav Gohil and Sakshi Tanwar in the soap opera “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii”.
Shabir made his film debut in 2007 with the action thriller film “Shootout at Lokhandwala”, playing the role of RC. In 2008, he starred alongside Vivek Oberoi and Shriya Saran in the Apoorva Lakha-directed action thriller film “Mission Instaanbul”. Shabir has also won several awards and has been nominated for a few. His appearance in “Kumkum Bhagya” earned him four awards, including the Indian Telly Award, Gold Award (x2), and Indian Television Academy Award.
