Alfonzo McKinnie (born September 17, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois, USA) is a professional NBA basketball player most renowned for playing for the Toronto Raptors, Golden State Warriors, and Los Angeles Lakers. He is a power forward who most recently played for Chicago Bulls in the NBA.
McKinnie initially went to high school at John Marshall Metropolitan (IL) and Green Bay, then joined the Eastern Illinois University team. He also played for the University of Wisconsin.
McKinnie’s scouting report perfectly captured his speed and explosiveness. McKinnie was particularly renowned for his strong rebounds, easy dunks, and great mobility. He was also fast and could easily switch back to defend wings well thanks to his fluid agility.
On October 9, 2017, Alfonzo McKinnie made his NBA debut. During his NBA career, McKinnie played one season with the Toronto Raptors for the 2017-2018 season, one season with the Golden State Warriors (2018-2019), one season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, one season with the Los Angeles Lakers, and one season with the Chicago Bulls. On November 23, 2020, McKinnie signed to the Los Angeles Lakers and on December 10, 2021, he signed to the Chicago Bulls.
