BUSBY MAROUÂ (pronounced Buzz-bee Ma-roo) is an Australian duo from Rockhampton, Queensland, formed in 2007. The band primarily consists of members Thomas Busby and Jeremy Marou, with several other musicians performing with the duo in concerts. Thomas and Busby started playing together when they met at a pub in Rockhampton. They have become known for their distinctly Australian storytelling and gifted musicianship.
Their self-titled album, released in August 2010, is certified ARIA Gold. The second album Farewell Fitzroy came out in 2013, followed by Postcards From The Shell House in 2017 and The Great Divide in 2019. Postcards from the Shell House debuted at number 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. At the APRA Music Awards of 2012, the duo won the Blues & Roots Work of the Year category.
