Govind Padmasoorya is an actor, TV presenter, YouTuber, and filmmaker born in Pattambi, Kerala, India, on June 16, 1987. He has a degree in Business Administration from St. Aloysius College in Mangalore. He made his acting debut in the Malayalam film Atayalangal in 2008.
Govind is best known for hosting the D 4 Dance reality series and several Asianet Film Award ceremonies. In 2013, he starred in Aaru Sundarimaarude Katha, 72 Model, and Natholi Oru Cheriya Meenalla. In 2016, he starred as Shibu Majeed in Pretham, a role he reprised in the sequel. His acting credits include Lavender, 32aam Adhyayam 23aam Vaakyam, Kee, Bangarraju, and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
Govind won Best Anchor at the 2016 and 2017 Kerala State Awards. He won the JCI Young Personality of the Year Award in 2018 and the Best Anchor Award at the Asiavision Awards in 2014. His YouTube channel, created on May 31, 2020, has over 378,000 subscribers with 52,142,708 views.
