Sung Kang is a Korean American actor who was born on April 8, 1972, in Clarkston, Georgia, United States. After he graduated high school he attended the University of California, Riverside, where he majored in acting. He started his acting career in 1999 when he appeared in the movie “Mystery Men”. He then appeared in several tv series such as “Felicity”, “Material Law”, “Martial Law” and “Without a Trace” and movies like “Pearl Harbor”, “Better Luck Tomorrow” and “Forbidden Warrior”. He made his jump to fame in 2006 when he participated in the movie “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift”, which then led him to become part of the main cast in the extremely famous “Fast and Furious” franchise starring Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. He debuted in the saga in 2009 in “Fast & Furious” playing Han. He then appeared in the following movies “Fast Five”, “Furious 6” and “F9”. Aside from the saga, he has won two awards at the VC FilmFest - Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, one with “Sunset Stories” in 2012 and the other with “Pali Road” in 2016.
