Mamta Mohandas is an actress, playback singer, and producer born in Manama, Bahrain, on November 14, 1984. She made her acting debut as Indira in the 2005 Malayalam film Mayookham, directed by Hariharan. She won Best Female Playback Singer at the 2007 Filmfare Award - Telugu Film Industry for Rakhi: Highly Inflammable.
In 2008, Mamta starred in Veera Madakari, King, Chintakayala Ravi, Homam, Victory, Gooli, and Krishnarjuna. She portrayed Vidyalakshmi Nambiar in Kadha Thudarunnu in 2010. The role earned her several awards, including Best Actress at the 2011 Filmfare Award - Malayalam Film Industry, Best Actress at the 2011 Vanitha Film Awards, and Second Best Actress at the 2011 Kerala State Film Awards.
Her acting credits include Jana Gana Mana, Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakeel, Johny Johny Yes Appa, Udaharanam Sujatha, Two Countries, Njanum Ente Familiyum, Baba Kalyani, and To Noora with Love.
