Blerim Destani Bio
Blerim Destani is an actor and producer born on 12th April 1981 in West Germany. His acting debut came with the television film “Where the sun doesn’t rise” when he was only 14 years old. In 2004, he landed his first major role in a film. He gained fame and popularity for playing the main role in the television drama “Metropolet”. The following year, he starred in the film “Kosova: Desperate Search” in the role of The Soldier.
He went on to appear in the films “Time of the Comet” in 2008, “Ved Verdens Ende” in 2009, “Get Low” in 2009, “Tom und Hacke” in 2010, “Gone Back” in 2013, and many others. Apart from being an actor, Destani has a great passion for filmmaking and has been involved in directing and producing a few films. In 2004, he was the producer of the war/drama film “The Great Water”, which was aired at many popular festivals and won several awards.
