Blind Pilot Bio
Blind Pilot is a music band from Portland, Oregon, United States. The band was formed in 2005, and its members include vocalist/guitarist Israel Nebeker, bassist/guitarist Luke Ydstie, keyboardist Dave Jorgensen, drummer/percussionist Ryan Dobrowski, and banjoist Kati Claborn. They released their first CD, titled “3 Rounds and a Sound”. In 2011, they released their second album, titled “We Are the Tide” under the Expunged label. Their third album, “And Then Like Lions” was released in August 2016.
The band also released the EP “iTunes Session” in 2009. In 2008, they completed a bicycle tour that saw them bike from Washington to California. They made many stops along the way. The band continued to tour in 2009 in support of their album. They made their television debut in the late-night series “Last Call with Carson Daly”. They also appeared as guests on the talk show “Late Show with David Letterman” to promote their second album.
