Brett Davern is an actor born on 16th March 1992 in Edmonds, Washington, United States. He is widely recognized for playing Jake Rosati in the comedy-drama series “Awkward”. Growing up, Davern always had a passion for acting. He started acting when he was in Elementary School in Edmonds. After completing high school, he went on to study acting in New York. While living in New York, he auditioned for different roles but was not successful.
He eventually landed his first major role in the film “Beautiful Ohio”, alongside Rita Wilson, Juliana Margulies, and William Hurt. He also made guest appearances in the “Cold Case”, “In Plain Sight”, “NCIS”, “CSI: Miami,” and “Miami”. His appearance in the series “Awkward” earned him the People’s Choice Award in 2013. He has also appeared in the films “Born to Race: Fast Track” in 2014, “Love & Mercy” in 2014, “The Stanford Prison Experiment” in 2015, and “The Culling” in 2015.
