Cameron Crowe Bio
Cameron Crowe is an actor and author born on 13th July 1957 in Palm Springs, California, United States. He started his career as a contributing editor at American monthly magazine, “Rolling Stone”. He still writes regularly for the magazine. Crowe's first screenwriting work was the drama film “Fast Times at Ridgemont High”. He is also credited for writing and directing the romantic comedy-drama film “Say Anything….”. His breakthrough came in 1996 with the film “Jerry Maguire”.
In 2000, he wrote, directed, and produced the comedy-drama film “Almost Famous”. The following year, he wrote, directed, and produced the science fiction psychological thriller film “Vanilla Sky”. He went on to write, direct and produce “Elizabethtown” in 2005, “The Union” in 2005, “Pearl Jam Twenty” in 2011, “We Bought a Zoo” in 2011, “Aloha” in 2015, and “Roadies” in 2016.
