Caoimhin Kelleher is a professional soccer player who currently plays for the English Premier League club Liverpool and the Ireland national team. Born on 23rd November 1998 in Cord, Ireland, Kelleher started his career as a goalkeeper with the Ringmahon Ranger football academy. In 2015, he joined the youth setup at Liverpool. He played for the Liverpool youth academy from 2015 to 2019 before joining the senior team.
Kelleher signed a new contract with Liverpool in 2018 and was named in the squad that won the 2019 UEFA Championships League final. In December 2020, he was named in the starting lineup in Liverpool’s Champions League match against Ajax. Five days later, he started for Liverpool in a premier league match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. In June 2021, he signed a new contract that would keep him at the club until 2026.
