Thomas Dybdahl Bio

Thomas Dybdahl is a Norwegian singer and songwriter born April 12, 1979, in Sandnes, Norway. In his early days, at the beginning of the 2000s, Thomas started his solo career after being a guitarist in the funk and soul Norwegian band Quadraphonics. His two EPs: in 2000 Bird and 2001 John Wayne were unsuccessful and did not get much attention from media in Norway. The turning point of his solo career was the year 2002 when he released his first album That Great October Sound. The song From Grace was played on the radio many numbers of times and the album was sold well in Norway and it reached full potential in 2004 after the European version of the album was released. His next two albums Stray Dogs and One Day You'll Dance for Me, New York in the next few years were also successful. After his solo career, he went on to be a leading singer on the band The National Bank, a jazz and rock band formed by members of two bands: Jaga Jazzist and BigBang. In 2008, Thomas was the second vocal on the album Dive Deep by famous British band Morcheeba.
