Karthik Jayaram Bio
Karthik Jayaram is an actor, model, and engineer born in Koppa, Karnataka, India, on May 1, 1979. He has a degree in civil engineering and a Master's in structural engineering. He is best known for starring as Super Star Jay "JK" Krishna in the Colors Kannada soap opera Ashwini Nakshatra. Karthik is a brand ambassador for Bright Expert, Lotus Sports and Fitness, and SAMANTAS.
In 2011, he starred as Dr. Surya Prakash in Vishnuvardhana and Vaikunta in Kempe Gowda. In 2015, he appeared in Bangalore 560023, Care of Footpath 2, and Kill Them Young. His portrayal of Raavan in Siya Ke Ram earned him a nomination for Best Actor in a Negative Role at the 2016 Indian Television Academy Awards.
Karthik was second runner-up in the reality show Bigg Boss Kannada 5 in 2017. He has starred opposite Deepp Pathak, Avika Gor, Esha Deol, and Kishan Shrikanth. His acting credits include Maaligai, IRavan, Nanna Guri Warrant - The Mission, and Just Love.
