Mohammad Ajum Ali, widely known as Ali, is an actor, comedian, and TV presenter born in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, on October 10, 1967. He has appeared in over 400 roles across movies and TV series. He entered the movie industry through Jit Mohan Mitra, Rajahmundry's musical company. His debut role was in the 1979 film Nindu Noorellu, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao.
Ali is a brand ambassador for Manmohan Jaadoo Malaam. He hosted Ali Talkies on MAA TV and Alitho Saradaga on ETV. In 2004, he starred in Gudumba Shankar, Shiva Shankar, Intlo Srimathi Veedhilo Kumari, Athade Oka Sainyam, and Badradri Ramudu. His portrayal of John Abraham in Super won him the 2006 Filmfare Award - Telugu Film Industry Best Comedian.
Ali received nominations for Best Comic Actor at the South Indian International Movie Awards for Ishq (2012) and S/O Satyamurthy (2015). In 2015, he won the Best Comedian at the CineMAA Awards for his role in Oka Laila Kosam. His acting credits include Son of India, Father Chitti Umaa Kaarthik, Pandu Gadi Photo Studio, and Juliet Lover of Idiot.
