Benson Henderson Bio
Benson Henderson is an American mixed martial artist best known for his time as lightweight and welterweight with the UFC and Bellator. He was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States, on November 16, 1983. Benson began his professional MMA career in 2006 when he defeated Dan Gregory by TKO at a Midwest Championship Fighting event, and he made his UFC debut in 2011 with s victory against Mark Bocek. Benson won the UFC lightweight title in 2012 when he defeated Frankie Edgar, and he went on to defend it against Nate Diaz and Gilbert Melendez. In 2016, Benson signed with Bellator.
