Soumya Bhattacherjee, famous as Shaheb Bhattacherjee, is an actor born in Calcutta, West Bengal, India, on November 17, 1985. He began his career as a child actor in Bhaloy Bhaloy. Roles in Doordarshan, Sanghorsho, Bidroho, Abbajan, Mukkhomontri, and Laathi followed it. Shaheb starred in the ETV Bangla soap opera Meghbalika.
In 2010, he starred as Abhijeet in Iti Mrinalini: An Unfinished Letter... The following year, he appeared in Someday Somewhere, Royal Bengal Rahasya, and Ami Shubhash Bolchi. In 2015, Shaheb starred as Arko in Aro Ekbar, Andy in Bheetu: Coward, and Rupam in Ichchhemotir Gappo.
In 2018, he portrayed Aftab Rehman in Mehmaan, Ratul Chattopadhyay in Oskar, and Partho in Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz. Shaheb has starred opposite Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Bratya Basu, and Saswata Chatterjee. He appeared as Vishnudas Balaporia in Feludar Goyendagiri in 2022. His acting credits include Mahishasur Marddini, Hai Taubba, The Complete Life, Not a Dirty Film, and Bonyo Premer Golpo.
