Harry Hill Bio

Matthew Keith Hall, widely known as Harry Hill, is a comedian born in Woking, Surrey, England, on October 1, 1964. He studied neurosurgery at St George's Hospital Medical School. He blends character, improvisational, insult, musical, and observational genres of comedy. His subjects include everyday life, pop culture, television, and world history.

Harry won the Perrier Award for Best Newcomer for his radio comedy show, Harry Hill's Fruit Corner. In 2001, he began the comedy show Harry Hill's TV Burp. The show won him Best Entertainment Performance at the 2008 BAFTA TV Award, Best Comedy Entertainment Personality at the 2010 British Comedy Awards, and TV Personality at the 2011 Television and Radio Industries Club Awards.

His production credits include Ellie & Natasia, Absolutely Canadian, Reasons to Be Cheerful with Matt Lucas, and The Harry Hill Movie. In 2017, Harry appeared as Roger in an episode of The Mayoress. He has starred in Professor Branestawm Returns, The Children's Party at the Palace, Dick Whittington, and Sooty & Co.
