Isaiah Stewart Bio
Isaiah Stewart II is a professional NBA player born on May 22, 2001, in Rochester, New York, USA. Portland Trail Blazers selected him as the 16th overall pick in the first round of the NBA Draft in 2020. However, he joined the Detroit Pistons shortly after as a center/power forward.
While at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Indiana, Isaiah led the team to a 30-1 record in his senior year. In 2019, he won the Naismith Prep Player of the Year, McDonald's All-American, and the Mr. Basketball USA Award. He was part of the USA U17 team that won gold at the FIBA U17 World Cup in 2018.
Isaiah spent his college career at the University of Washington, earning All-Pac-12 First Team and Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. He led the Pac-12 conference in two-pointers made (187), free throws made (154), and total rebounds (281). Isaiah made the 2021 NBA All-Rookie Second Team.
