Chris Hayes Bio
Christopher Loffredo Hayes, better known as Chris Hayes, is an American show host, political commentator, news anchor, and TV personality best known for his work on television. He was born in New York City, New York, United States, on February 28, 1979. In 2001, Chris began his career in print where he worked with the Chicago Reader, In These Times, and The Nation. He made his TV debut in 2012 when he appeared in the TV series The Alyona Show, Democracy Now, and The Colbert Report. Chris has since been a regular on the TV shows PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton, Now with Alex Wagner, Real Time with Bill Maher, and The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, but he is best known for hosting the news show All in with Chris Hayes. He has won two News & Documentary Emmy Awards for Outstanding News Discussion & Analysis.
