Alex O’Loughlin is an Australian actor born in August, 1976, in Canberra. The famous actor had his first breakthrough role when he played the character Jack Flange in the film Oyster Farmer in 2004. In 2005, he starred in the movie Feed as character Michael Carter. This was a change in his career, since he co-wrote and produced it. Another movie released in 2005, was Man-Thing where he portrayed the role of Eric Fraser.
He continued his career with roles in other television miniseries and shows like Mary Bryant, Moonlight, and The Shield. The actor got nominated for a Logie Award in 2006, for his role in Mary Bryant in 2005. Other feature films he appeared in include WhiteOut in 2009 and the famous August Rush in 2007. He was considered for the role of James Bond movie Casino Royale, but just missed the part against Daniel Craig when Pierce Brosnan withdrew.
