Matthew Dekay grew up in Haarlem, The Netherlands in a musical family. He started releasing his music production in the early 2000s. This eventually led to performances in different festivals in Europe and in clubs in Ibiza. Dekay received a nomination for a Grammy in 2005. After collaborating with Bob Moses in 2008, he found his signature sound and in 2011, he founded All Day I Dream along with Lee Burridge. One of the most successful releases from All Day I Dream includes “Lost In A Moment” which gained popularity all over the world. In 2015, he released Für die liebe, an hour-long soundtrack, which gained a feature in XLR8R. After taking a break in 2017, Dekay focused on dance floor music when he returned in 2018.
