Hailing from Karratha, Western Australia, Teneil Throssell, widely recognized as HAAi, is an esteemed Australian music producer and DJ renowned for her electrifying house and dance music sets.
Initially venturing into the music scene through various rock bands, Throssell found her footing and international acclaim as one half of the duo Dark Bells upon relocating to the UK. Following the disbandment of Dark Bells, she seamlessly transitioned into the world of DJing. Throssell's meteoric rise was marked by a two-year residency at London's esteemed club Phonox starting in late 2016, where she captivated audiences with her innovative sounds. The pinnacle of her career came in 2018 when she clinched the prestigious BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix of the Year, solidifying her status as a luminary in the electronic music realm.
