Hot Since 82 Bio

Operating under the name Hot Since 82 is Daley Padley, a DJ and house music producer who was born in Athersley South, Barnsley, England. When he was a young teenager, Hot Since 82 would frequently go to nightclubs, falling in love with the DJ mixes that he heard. A few years later, he got the opportunity to work as the weekly Sunday DJ at the local club, and at that time, he was working under his real name. In 2006, he was offered residency at Amnesia night club in Ibiza.

His story as Hot Since 82, however, began in 2010. While partying in Ibiza, the music at the club shut off, and when the young DJ plugged in his iPhone to get the music going again, one of his unreleased tracks came on. The reception to the track was overwhelming, as he got people dancing inadvertently. He later contacted his friend, owner of Noir Recordings, through whom he released “Let It Ride” track. Since that fateful night, he has gone on to release the EPs Forty Shorty and Hot Jams Volume 1 in 2012, Hurt You and Hot Jams Volume 2 in 2013, and Planes and Trains Remixes in 2014. His first full-length album was released in 2013, entitled Little Black Book, and since then, he has had the opportunity to tour Europe and North America while performing at various music festivals internationally.
