Courtney Hadwin is a British singer and songwriter born in Sunderland, England in 2004. She has made a name for herself for her performances in reality-TV singing contests. In 2015 she gained some attention in the UK's teen music competition “TeenStar”. After opening for Sister Sledge in a South Tyneside Festival, she became a finalist in that years' edition of the show “The Voice: Kids UK”. In 2018 her audition for season 13 of “America’s Got Talent” got the “golden buzzer” from TV producer and co-host Howie Mandel, a distinction that gave the young artist a direct pass to the live performances phase of the show. She also became a top 10 finalist in that season. By the end of 2018, Hadwin signed with Syco Entertainment and Arista records.
