Better known as Octavian, the French-British hip-hop rapper Octavian Oliver Godji, was born on January 22, 1996, in Lille, France. After his father’s death, Octavian and his mother moved to South London, England, where he started his professional career as a rapper. He attended and quit the famous BRIT school where major artists such as Jessie J and Amy Winehouse have attended previously. He released his first mixtape called Spaceman in 2016 under the name Octavian OG and the next year, he released his debut EP named Essie World EP. Octavian released several singles including Hands, 100 Degrees, and Little that earned him major popularity and a contract with the record label called Black Butter. One of the biggest influences on Octavian is said to be Drake who has mentioned Octavian and his music on his social media platform.
