Maro Itoje Bio
Oghenemaro Miles Itoje, famous as Maro Itoje, is a professional rugby player born in Camden, London, England, on October 28, 1994. He is an alumnus of the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London) and Warwick University. He made the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Europe - Sports & Games in 2021.
Maro played integral roles in 2016, 2017, and 2020 Six Nation Championship wins. He spent his youth career at Harpenden RFC between 2005 and 2011. He began playing for Saracens in 2012, winning the English Premiership (2014/15, 2015/16, 2017/18, 2018/19), the RFU Championship (2020/21), the European Rugby Champions Cup (2015/16, 2016/17, 2018/19), and the LV Cup (2014/15).
Maro won the 2014 IRB Junior World Championship with the England U20 team. Since playing for England in 2016, he has won the Grand Slam (2016), Triple Crown (2016, 2020), and Autumn Nations Cup (2020). He received nominations for the World Rugby Player of the Year in 2016, 2017, and 2021. Maro was the European Player of the Year in 2016.
