Urvashi Dholakia Bio
Urvashi Dholakia, the woman who redefined the portrayal of female villains on television, was born on 9th July 1978. Her onscreen debut was at the tender age of 6 in a commercial with actress Revathi for Lux soap. As a child artist, she was seen on Doordarshan TV’s show. As an adult, her first role was on Doordarshan’s hit sitcom, "Dekh Bhai Dekh". The golden period of her career came in 2001 with the role of the iconic villain, Komolika, on the show "Kasautii Zindagii Kay". She won several Indian Telly Awards, Apsara Awards and Gold Awards for the Best Actress in a Negative Role category. She has worked in several soap operas, such as "Ghar Ek Mandir", and "Kahiin To Hoga". In 2012 she was a contestant on Bigg Boss 6 and emerged the winner of the season.
