Hannah New is an English actress hailing from Balham, London and holds training from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Discovered by an American talent manager in Barcelona, Spain, her career began in 2010 with her role in The Time Between, where she played the lead Rosalinda Fox.
Going on to star in Disney’s maleficent as Queen Leila, she went on to portray Calli Monroe in the thriller Under the Bed. Her next television role was in Black Sails, an adventure series where she plays Eleanor Guthrie, alongside Toby Stephens and Luke Arnold in the hit show. Currently a recurring cast member in the television show The Strain, she plays Louisa. New also plays Victoria in 2018’s anthology drama series Trust.
