Charlotte Church Bio

Charlotte Maria Reed, widely known as Charlotte Church, is a singer, songwriter, and TV personality born in Llandaff, Cardiff, Wales, on February 21, 1986. She gained prominence after performing Andrew Lloyd Webber's Pie Jesu on the TV show This Morning. Her performance on ITV's The Big Big Talent Show earned her critical acclaim.

Charlotte released her debut album, Voice of an Angel, in 1998, which peaked at number one on the classical album charts. She has performed at Cardiff Arms Park in Wales, the London Palladium, and the Royal Albert Hall. She has published two autobiographies, Voice of an Angel (My Life So Far) and Keep Smiling.

Charlotte hosted The Charlotte Church Show on Channel 4. She received a nomination for Outstanding Classical Music-Dance Program at the 2001 Primetime Emmy Awards. Her discography includes Back to Scratch, Tissues and Issues, Enchantment, Dream a Dream, and Charlotte Church. She has appeared on The One Show, John Bishop: in Conversation With, The Jonathan Ross Show, and The Graham Norton Show.
