John Bishop Bio
John Bishop is a comedian born on 30th November 1966 in Liverpool, England. Before starting his career as a comedian, he played professional football for a number of football clubs in England. He began his career as a standup comedian in 2000. He took part in the stand-up comedy competition “So You Think You’re Funny” and made it to the finals. In 2004, he received the North West Comedy award in the category of best stand-up.
In 2009, he appeared in the comedy show “Comedy Showcase” and participated in the quiz show “Celebrity Mastermind.” Bishop has also been a guest panelist on the television shows “Celebrity Juice” in 2008, “Mock the Week” in 2010, and “Would I Lie to You?” in 2010. In 2015, he presented his own television show, “The John Bishop Show,” on BBC One. Two years later, he was a presenter on the talk show “John Bishop: In Conversation with…..”
