St. Vincent Bio

Annie Erin Clark, best known as St. Vincent is a singer, songwriter, and multi-award-winning composer. She was born on the 28th of September, 1982 at Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States. At the age of 12, Clark started playing guitar and as a teenager, she joined her uncle, Tuck Andress, on his popular jazz duo, Tuck & Patti. During her student days at Berklee School of Music, she self-released a three-song EP with fellow students. Later on, Clark started mixing electronic, rock, indie, and jazz vibes to create her unique sounds. Clark is remembered for becoming the first solo woman who won a Grammy for Best Alternative Album in 20 years. Years later, Clark did it again, winning a Grammys and smashing Billboard’s top 10 with “Masseduction”, an album that featured collaborations of Kamasi Washington, Jenny Lewis, Doveman, and Cara Delevingne. The talent of Clark also won her the Grammy for Best Rock Song with “Masseduction”, performing a duet with Dua Lipa.
