Marcia Anne Cross is an American actress born in 1962 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. She trained as an actress in Juilliard and later got a degree in psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles. Her acting career started with recurring roles in soap operas like “The Edge of Night” and “Another World.” Cross would soon land a recurring role in the series “Knots Landing,” and in 1992 she got a leading role in “Melrose Place” as Dr. Kimberly Shaw. She got her international breakthrough as Bree Van de Kamp in “Desperate Housewives” from 2004 until 2012. For this role, she earned various award nominations, including several Golden Globes and a Primetime Emmy. In 2015, Cross took part in the thriller series "Quantico."
