Skylan Brooks Bio
Skylan Brooks is an American actor who was born on February 12, 1999, in Torrance, California. He began his career at only six years old when he made a small uncredited cameo in the movie “Roll Bounce” in 2005. Since then, he appeared in many short films including “The Van Pelt Family”, “Who’s Boo?”, “Ships Wrecked Cove”, “Stanley” and “Duck”; series like “iCarly” and “Children’s Hospital” and movies such as “A Beautiful Soul”, “Noobz” and “General Education”. His breakthrough role came in 2013 when he starred in the movie “The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete” where he played Mister opposite Ethan Dizon. For this role, he received three nominations at Acapulco Black Film Festival, Black Reel Awards, and Young Artist Awards. In 2016 he became a regular on the tv show “The Get Down” and appeared in “Castle Rock”, starring Bill Skarsgård, in 2019. In 2020 he starred in the movie “The Archenemy” opposite Jessica Allain and Mac Brandt.
