Ben McKenzie Bio
Actor Ben McKenzie, born Benjamin McKenzie Schenkkan on September 12th 1978 in Austin, Texas, landed his breakout role as Ryan Atwood in The O.C. Ben studied foreign affairs and economics at the University of Virginia. McKenzie went on to appear in 88 Minutes, Johnny Got His Gun, Adventures in the Sin Bin, Decoding Annie Parker, Men at Work, Goodbye World, The Advocates, Lessons in Love, and a recurring role in Southland. Benjamin landed his next big role in the TV series Gotham as James Gordon. McKenzie also voiced characters for Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Batman: Year One and Gotham Stories. Ben also made appearances in The Accidental Wolf, The Report, The Investigation: A Search for the Truth in the Ten Acts, and In the Line of Duty.
