Millicent Simmonds (born March 6, 2003) is an American actress who acted in the horror films A Quiet Place (2018) and A Quiet Place Part II (2020). Her breakthrough performance came in the 2017 drama Wonderstruck. She was nominated for multiple awards for best youth performance for Wonderstruck and A Quiet Place. In 2018, she starred in Andi Mack, and in 2019, she starred in This Close. "Millie hopes to continue both performing and advocating for the deaf community," KSL.com's Liesl Nielsen said after Simmonds' 2017 debut in Wonderstruck. Simmonds received the Greenwich International Film Festival's Make An Impact Award in 2019 after starring in A Quiet Place, and she also spoke on a panel about the cinematic depiction of individuals with disabilities during the festival.
