Baba Sehgal (born November 23, 1965 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India) is an Indian musician, composer, actor, rapper, and playback singer for Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali films. He is most renowned for his work as a playback singer in films like Roja (1992), A Mighty Heart (2007), Arya 2 (2009), Singam 2 (2013) Rudhramadevi (2015), and Bank Chor (2017).
Although he studied to become an electrical engineer at the G.B. Pant University in Pantnagar, Baba joined the music industry in 1990 and released five albums between 1990 and 1999. He made his acting debut in the 1998 Bollywood romance thriller Miss 420. Following a long break from acting, he appeared in My Friend Ganesha 3 in 2010. He has also starred in other notable films including, Rudhramadevi (2015), Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo (2016), and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016).
Besides appearing in films, Baba has also appeared on television shows. He was a contestant on the popular reality show, Big Boss.
