Amita Marie Young, better known as Tata Young, is a Thai singer, songwriter, and actress who performs dance-pop music. She was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 14, 1980.
Tata began her music career in the early 1990s, and she rapidly became one of the most recognizable pop artists in South-East Asia. Her discography includes the hit singles Sexy Naughty Bitchy, Dhoom Dhoom, I Believe, Cinderella, I Think of You, and the albums Amita Tata Young, Ready for Love, and Dangerous TATA.
As an actress, Tata Young has appeared in the films Red Bike Story, Rak awk baep mai dai, O-Negative, and Bitter/Sweet which features Kip Pardue, James Brolin, Napakpapha Nakprasitte, and Spencer Garrett. She won a Thailand National Film Association Award for Best Actress.
