Chetan Kumar Bio

Chetan Kumar is an actor born on 24th February 1983 in Illinois, United States. He is also a socio-political activist. He started his career in 2007, playing the role of Chetan in the crime drama film “Aa Dinagalu”, for which he won the Udaya Film Award for Best Debut Actor. In 2009, he played a cameo role in the romantic comedy movie “Raam”. That same year, he portrayed Hacchi in the action film “Birugaali”.

In 2010, Kumar was cast in the film “Suryakaanti” as Rohith/Surya. His other notable appearances include “Dashamukha” in 2012, “Myna” in 2013, “Noorondu Nenapu” in 2017, “Athiratha” in 2017, and “Ranam” in 2021. Kumar is also set to appear in the upcoming films “Maarga”, “100 Crores” and “DTS”. Before making his film debut, Kumar appeared in plays and village dramas promoting women's empowerment.
