Indigo De Souza Bio
Indigo De Souza is an American singer and songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina, born in 1996. She began writing music when she was 9 years old and started performing on stage by age 11. She is the frontman of the band Indigo De Souza, backed by bassist Owen Stone, guitarist Ethan Baechtold and drummer Jake Lenderman.
Their first full album, I Love My Mom, was self-released in 2018. The album was later discovered by Saddle Creek Records and re-released in 2021. Saddle Creek Records also released the sophomore album, Any Shape You Take, on August 27, 2021. Aside from the indie-pop band, the North Carolina artist also fronts a neo-soul project, Icky Bricketts, with Ethan Baechtold. She has also produced for Bon Iver and Waxahatchee.
